Ok, now for the card…
I used Crumb Cake ink to stamp the polka dots on to a Crumb Cake card base (8 1/2″ x 4 1/4″).
Next, I ran a piece of Early Espresso cardstock (4″x 5 1/4″) through the Stamp, Cut, & Emboss Machine with the Distressed Tile 3D folder. I did rough up the edges with the blade of my Paper Snips to give it more texture!
I stamped the dogwood stamp onto Very Vanilla cardstock with Early Espresso ink and then colored with a Watercolor Pencils/Blender Pen combo. I LOVE our watercolor pencils; they mix so easily! TIP: color in more in the center of the flowers, then use the Blender Pen from the center to drag the color towards the outside of the petals.
The Thoughtful Expressions dies is what I used to cut out the flowers. I also used the Stampin’ Blends Dark Pecan Pie to splatter the background.
Now to use the Petal Park & the Best Label die to cut out the flower and the little vintage shape. I stamped Flirty Flamingo on to a Flirty Flamingo cardstock scrap & punch it out. I crumpled the flower and used my Bone Folder to curl the ends. The sentiment was stamped with Early Espresso and cut out with the Pick Your Label Punch. The final finishing touches are Wink of Stella, Iridescent Pearls, and the Natural Weave Ribbon!
