I just love to see Gold and Calypso Coral used together! I had a similar project when I made the Two-Tone Flora card in my last post! I made this card to show how to use Adhesive Sheets, Gold Embossing powder, and Emboss Resist.
I chose to use the Thick Basic White cardstock for my card base for it’s durability. Here are the measurements for this card:
Thick Basic White: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored in half
Calypso Coral: 5 1/4″ x 4″
Hello, Irresistible DSP: 2″x4″
Gold Foil: 1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ (I cut an Adhesive sheet slightly shorter for the back)
Vellum: scrap with Adhesive Sheet on the back for die cutting 3 leaves
Scrap pieces of Basic White for the flowers and sentiment

I used the Small Blending brushes with Petal Pink to color the whole inside of the flower. Then, I followed that with Calypso Coral focusing on the center of the flower.
When you are removing the Adhesive Sheet from the Gold die cut design, it will be very delicate. But the end result is so worth it!

I also recorded a video to show step by step how to make this card. I would love to see your creations! Join my Laura’s Creative Corner-Craft Addicts FB VIP group and share your creations!
