Sweet Treat Hanger Featuring Little Debbie Gingerbread Cookies

Get ready for the CUTEST project ever! 🎄✨
Week 4 of my Handmade for the Holidays Series brings you the CUTEST Christmas project—an easy Sweet Treat Hanger that perfectly holds a Little Debbie Gingerbread cookie! This is a QUICK and SIMPLE gift idea you can mass-produce for Secret Santas, teachers, coworkers, neighbors, or anyone who needs some holiday cheer. 🎁

The best part?
👉 You can make two treat holders from one sheet of 8-1/2″ x 11″ cardstock!

Today, I’m sharing the version made with Garden Green cardstock, the Christmas Tags & More 6″ x 6″ DSP, and the charming Homemade Treats Bundle. To finish it off, I added the Real Red & White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints and the Shiny Real Red Ribbon—such perfect festive details!

Let’s dive into the tutorial!

✂️ Supplies Used

  • Garden Green Cardstock
  • Christmas Tags & More 6″ x 6″ DSP
  • Homemade Treats Bundle (stamps + dies)
  • Real Red & White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints
  • Shiny Real Red Ribbon
  • Branching Out Dies – 2nd smallest label
  • Adhesives: Tear & Tape, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Hole Punch

📏 Measurements

You’ll get 2 treat holders from one sheet of cardstock.

Cut cardstock to:
8-1/2″ x 4-1/4″

Score on the long side at:

  • 3″
  • 2-7/8″ (this creates a tiny space so the cookie fits snug without bulging)

Rotate and score on the short side at:

  • 1/2″
  • 5/8″
  • 4-7/8″
  • 5″

DSP Layer:
4″ x 2-3/4″

🧁 Instructions

  1. Score your cardstock using the measurements above.
  2. Fold and burnish along all score lines
  3. Add Tear & Tape along the side flaps and assemble your treat pocket.
  4. Adhere the DSP panel (4″ x 2-3/4″) to the front.
  5. Die-cut your label using the 2nd smallest Branching Out die.
  6. Stamp your sentiment and attach it to the treat holder with Dimensionals.
  7. Add a loop of Shiny Real Red Ribbon through a punched hole at the top—this makes it easy to hang on a Christmas tree, a gift bag, or a doorknob!
  8. Finish with the Red & White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints for a cute pop of color.
  9. Slide in your Little Debbie Gingerbread Cookie and you’re ready to gift! 🎁💚

🎄 Perfect for…

  • Classroom goodies
  • Teacher gifts
  • Secret Santa exchanges
  • Treat trays
  • Holiday party favors
  • Stocking stuffers

Quick, festive, and absolutely adorable—this is a project you’ll come back to again and again during the holidays!
