Simple Perennial Lavendar

Happy New Year to everyone!! Did you get the chance to browse the new January-April Mini catalog? I would love to send you one so you can enjoy the products! When I first saw it, the Perennial Lavendar Suite was the first item that I ordered on the demonstrator Pre-Order last month! I LOVE the color Lavendar, the smell of lavender, and the flowers are gorgeous in a field!

I chose to purchase the whole Perennial Lavendar Suite for all the great items that come with it!! There are 2 stamp Bundles: Painted Lavender Bundle & Perennial Postage Bundle. My love of creating vintage type cards will be so resourceful with cards, scrapbook layouts, 3-D projects, and much more! The Perennial Lavender 12×12 paper is just breathtaking with all the hues and pops of purples! The Paper Butterfly Accents are great for new stampers! Just pop them out and they are ready to color or just use as is! And lastly, Purple Fin Shimmer Gems-Bling is a must in my craft room!

Now for one of the BEST Sign-Up Promotions!! During Sale-a-Bration (February 29th), you can join our Crafting Corner Team and get this AMAZING Glass Mat Bundle!! I didn’t realize how many techniques and money saving tips could be done with this Glass Mat!

I used it to create the background of my Lavendar card! I simply took the Highland Heather Stampin’ Ink Pad and placed it on the glass surface! I then used a Stampin’ Spritzer to just so lightly so it’s more fluid. Next, I used the Small Blending Brush to create the swoosh background! I was trying for a watercolor wash, but I loved how it turned out!

I stamped the greenery with Shaded Spruce directly to the background I just created. To create the splatter look, I used the Dark Highland Heather Blends pen and hit it against my Bone Folder. Then I stamped the Lavendar with Gorgeous Grape and the stems with Shaded Spruce. Both were cut out with their coordinating dies and placed on top with Dimensionals. The last steps were cutting out Gorgeous Grape with the 2nd largest postage die & adhering the focal portion on top. Then I adhered that to the Smoky Slate card base. I finished it off with a couple of butterflies stamped with Gorgeous Grape and a Linen Thread double bow.

The Stampin’ Glass Mat Studio is a paper crafter’s dream! The heavy-duty glass mat comes printed with a ruler and grid lines for easy measuring, while the large surface space gives ample room for spreading out while paper crafting. The safety-tempered glass has a heat and scratch resistant surface that wipes clean with the included cloth and water—no chemicals needed. The reusable cloth also cleans ink off your stamps!

Watch all the tips that I have learned so far, and I am sure there are more to come!
